SOMETHING ROTTEN!
July-August 2022
Stefan returns once more to LTA for his 13th show! Set in the 1590s, brothers Nick and Nigel Bottom are desperate to write a hit play but are stuck in the shadow of that Renaissance rock star known as "The Bard." When a local soothsayer foretells that the future of theatre involves singing, dancing and acting at the same time, Nick and Nigel set out to write the world’s very first musical. But amidst the scandalous excitement of opening night, the Bottom Brothers realize that reaching the top means being true to thine own self, and all that jazz. Be ready for a ton of fun and laughs galore!
70s POP MUSICAL (TITLE TBA)
Summer 2023
Stefan will be returning to LTA to work once again with director Joanna Henry and music director Chris Tomasino on this 70s pop musical. This title cannot be advertised until 2023 due to licensing agreements. Suffice to say, it's one of Stefan's "bucket list" shows, that contains amazing opportunities for fun and kinetic choreography set on an island in Greece!
TANGO PROJECT (TITLE TBA)
2023 - dates TBD
Stefan is devising a new show for the opening season of the brand new MetroStage theatre space opening next year. This new theatre project tells an Uruguayan immigrant's story loosely based on Sittig's own background, using the native music of that region of South America - the tango! With special participation from Quintango, the show will first have a reading and then a workshop at George Mason University in mid 2022, and then will be part of the inaugural 22/23 season to re-open MetroStage's new space.
