Stefan has been nominated for the 2010 UMUC Stanley J. Drazek Teaching Excellence Award
and the 2010 UMUC Teaching Recognition Award.
Stefan is currently teaching Acting I and two sections of Introduction to Humanities at UMUC.

STEFAN TO DIRECT/CHOREOGRAPH JERRY'S GIRLS AT MCP
Stefan returns to Mclean Community Players, where he directed/choreographed last season's smash hit Red, Hot & Cole, to direct/choreograph Jerry's Girls, a fantastic Jerry Herman musical revue. The Broadway composer and lyricist who created Hello Dolly, Mame, Mack & Mabel and La Cage Aux Folles gets a star treatment in this all-female review of his showstopping and toe-tapping songs. Opens April 2010!
INFORMATION ON AUDITIONS FOR JERRY'S GIRLS
Jerry's Girls
A review of the music of Jerry Herman (HELLO DOLLY, MAME, MACK & MABEL, LA CAGE AUX FOLLES, etc...).
Director/Choreographer Stefan Sittig and Music/Vocal Director Rosemary Dyer are casting 9 - 12 experienced and seasoned women, who sing, act and move well. All body types, ages, races, and looks welcome. Some tap dancing a plus, but not required.
This is an ensemble show, all parts will be featured in the show.
Show dates: April 23-May 8, 2010
Rehearsals: Some vocal rehearsals will begin in late January, full cast rehearsals will begin in late February.
AUDITION DATE: (first come first served -— sign up at audition desk), Saturday, November 21, 10am – 4pm
All those auditioning should prepare one song (ballad or uptempo) that shows their vocal range and ability to interpret a lyric. There will be no dancing at auditions. Those that are called back should be prepared to move/dance as well on Sunday, Nov. 22 in the afternoon. Accompanist will be provided.
